Quarter 1 - February 17, 2021 - Virtual Webinar
This quarter's training will be done virtually via webinar. LEDA instructors will be presenting from 1000-1200 hours PDT. This training will consist of team incident debriefs, a section on team training scenarios, and a class on "Aerial Search Techniques" taught by Sgt Josh Goldschmidt, Chief Pilot of the Portland Police Bureau's Air Support Unit. The recording of this webinar is located on our Media page!
Quarter 2 - June 24, 2021 - River Rescues/SAR
Our Q2 training in Lebanon, Oregon, was a big hit. We were glad to have 30 LEOs from the region together, in person, for a great day at the Santiam River for river rescue training, SAR techniques, Aerial Search techniques and a bunch of other Skills.
We were so grateful for the gracious homeowners who opened up their beautiful property on the river for our training and for providing pastries and lunch for our attendees!
Quarter 3 - August 11th, 2021 - Webinar
The first half of LEDA's 2-hour Q3 webinar will cover psychology of missing/endangered subjects, where they tend to go when they go leave, how to focus UAS operations during a search and rescue mission for missing endangered and lost subjects.
The second half will cover several great UAS deployment debriefs from LEDA members. We will also be giving away some LEDA swag!
The recording of this webinar is posted in our Member Resources Training Videos Page and is restricted to LEDA members only.
